Our shipping policy and processing rates cover the expenses we incur in processing your order, packing the purchased item(s), transportation and related overhead. Standard rates are based on the merchandise total charge as detailed in the shipping chart.
Most ground orders are processed and shipped via UPS within 1 to 2 business days after your order is submitted, not including custom orders. Orders with priority shipping will be processed on the same day if received by 1pm PST (excludes weekends and holidays). Priority shipping options for custom orders applies to transit time only. Production time cannot be expedited.
Once your package leaves our warehouse, you can expect the following transit times for delivery within the continental US (barring extreme weather conditions and holidays):
Ground - 5 to 10 business days depending on your ship-to address. UPS ground deliveries are made Monday through Friday. Ground shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9am and 7pm (and sometimes later) to residences, and by the close of business for commercial addresses.
2 Day - placed by 1pm PST (Monday through Friday) will be delivered in 2 business days.
Next Day - placed by 1pm PST (Monday through Friday) will be delivered in 1 business day.
You will receive an email the day your order is shipped which will include tracking information. We guarantee packages are put on board the shipping transit service. However, from this point, we do not take responsibility for the delivery of the shipment to you. Residential deliveries that do not require signature may be left in a safe place, out of sight and out of weather at the driver's discretion. This could include the front door, side porch, back porch and garage area.
Gift cards are shipped at no charge provided rush delivery is not required.
Signature may be required for delivery of custom orders. Please take this into consideration when selecting a ship-to address for your package. For residential deliveries that require signature, you can leave instructions for the driver if no one will be home. For example, you can ask that it be delivered to a neighbor who will be home.
Back ordered items - We will ship back ordered items when available. You will incur no additional shipping charges for the separate shipment of back ordered items. Please see our back order policy below for further details.

Lula Mae will happily accept merchandise for return in its original packaging and condition, and accompanied by the original receipt within 30 days of purchase
Return your items within 30 days for a full merchandise refund. We will process your return promptly upon receipt. Your refund will be credited back to the original method of payment. Please note: Banks often take one to two billing periods before refunds appear on your credit card statement.
Personalized items including custom printing, stamps, embossers, note pads, envelope liners and sashes are not returnable. Sale merchandise, Holiday Merchandise and Seasonal Merchandise are also not returnable. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
No returns accepted after 30 days of original purchase.

Back Order Policiy
Please note, Lula Mae is also a Mom and Pop, Brick and Mortar Store. If we have sold out of an item that is still on our website, we will email you emediately. Your card will NOT be charged for a back ordered item.We will send the order and notify you when the backordered item arrives, for further insructions from you. WE will of course not charge you for the backrdered items unless you decide to keep them on the order. In this case we will charge you only as the item/items leave our warehouse.
